Who are you?
Speech Associates of NY is owned and operated by Jayne Latz, a certified speech-language pathologist who has worked with speech, language, and swallowing disorders for over 25 years in both medical and academic settings. Ms. Latz formed Speech Associates of NY to provide quality speech therapy services, as well as support and education, to individuals and families in order to ensure the best treatment of speech and swallowing skills for their children or adult family members.
What qualifications do your therapists have?
Our staff is comprised of speech-language pathologists who have been New York State licensed and certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Although all of our therapists have been trained in all aspects of communication and swallowing, many also have specialized training and experience in specific areas, ranging from pediatric feeding to autism to speech disorders.
Do you work with adults or children?
Speech Associates of NY works with patients of all ages, from infantile feeding issues to geriatric post-stroke rehabilitation. No matter how young or old the patient, we have a therapist who is right for you.
Where do you provide treatment?
We come to you! For maximum comfort and convenience, treatment is provided in the client’s home. However, should you prefer an office, we have a convenient office location on Long Island and in Manhattan. The range of locations which we serve is always expanding.
